Who Needs Encouraging Words?

If you are not clear about when it is okay to share some biblical encouragement for singles or someone hurting then read below for some few insights.
Someone dealing with the death of a loved one
Losing someone you love is not easy and if you know someone who needs some encouragement words then do take the time to share something positive. They need to be around positive people and to hear positive words. Do not over do it. You need to be sensitive enough to know when and how to say it.
Grieving people go through various phases of grief and you need to be sensitive to understand the grieving process and what words to say at each stage.
Someone new at work
Being in a new office can be overpowering for most people. If you know someone who has just started in a new job then you better think of a way to make him or her comfortable and at ease. If the friend enjoys a good laugh, it is a good idea to send him or her some encouragement poems about the first day at work.
Someone in a new country
Being in a foreign country can be so intimidating especially if you can not understand the local language. One of the predominant feelings are anxiety and being home sick. I know someone who fell into a serious depression a few days after arriving in a new country – to stay for 12 months. It took two months to get that person out of the “slump” .
There are many more people who need to be encouraged from time to time. These include those who are sick and those in prisons. As you live through each day, never forget that someone needs you to share some few uplifting words.
